1. What these terms cover

These terms apply to your use of nursingstudyguide.org and to any purchase of Nursing Study OS™. By using the site you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the site.

2. Educational purpose and limitations

Everything on this site is educational study material for nursing students. It is not medical advice, clinical decision support, or a substitute for your nursing program, your instructors, your institution's policies or current clinical guidelines. The full statement is on the educational disclaimer page, and it forms part of these terms.

You agree not to use anything from this site to make decisions about the care of a real patient, and not to enter identifiable patient information anywhere on it.

3. No outcome guarantee

We do not guarantee any examination result, including course examinations and the NCLEX. The site is a study-planning and study-material tool. Outcomes depend on your own work, your program and your examination.

4. The free study check

The study check and its result are provided free and without warranty of any kind. The output is a study-planning suggestion produced by a rules engine from the five answers you give. It does not assess clinical competence and is not a diagnostic instrument of any kind.

5. Purchasing Nursing Study OS™

  • The price is $19 USD, charged once. There is no subscription and no recurring billing.
  • Payment is processed by Stripe under their terms.
  • Delivery is immediate: your study system is generated in your browser and a secure access link is emailed to you. No account or password is created.
  • Refunds are covered by the refund policy: 14 days, no justification required.
  • If payment succeeds but generation fails, your purchase is recorded and you can regenerate at no extra cost. You will never be asked to pay twice for one purchase.

6. Licence and permitted use

When you buy Nursing Study OS™ you receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use the generated study system for your own study. You may print it, save it, annotate it and keep it indefinitely.

You may not:

  • resell, sublicense or redistribute the material, in whole or in part;
  • publish it publicly or upload it to a file-sharing or note-sharing service;
  • use it to create a competing commercial study product, or scrape the site to build one;
  • remove attribution or the educational disclaimers from printed material.

Sharing a page with a classmate who is studying with you is fine. Uploading the pack to a public drive is not.

7. Intellectual property

All content, questions, engines and design on this site are original work owned by Nursing Study OS, except for material quoted from cited public sources, which remains the property of its publishers and is linked rather than reproduced.

NCLEX is a registered trademark of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing. This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by NCSBN, and contains no proprietary examination content.

8. Availability

We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Content may be updated, corrected or withdrawn — clinical content in particular is revised as sources change, and that is a feature rather than a defect.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of this site or the product is limited to the amount you paid us, which for the product is $19. We are not liable for examination results, academic outcomes, or any consequence of using educational material outside its stated purpose.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top will change, and material changes will appear in the site changelog. Changes do not apply retroactively to a purchase already made.
